Recipe :
3 eggs
1.5 cup maida
1 tbspn cocoa powder
1.5 cup powdered sugar
1tbspn baking powder
1tspn vanilla essence
2tbspn buttermilk
Red food colour a pinch
1.5 cup butter
For the frosting : Use homemade whipped cream but usually it should be buttercream frosting
Method:
Mix red food colour with buttermilk.
Whisk butter and sugar until blended well. Add eggs and whisk well. Add vanilla essence. And red buttermilk. Whisk well.
Sift all dry ingredients and mix into the wet ingredients.
Prepare a greased baking mould and pour the batter into it. Tap the mould. Bake at 180 degree for 30 minutes .
After it's done, demould the cake and put it into fridge. After its firm , slice it and cut horizontally and apply frosting in between and over the top. Decorate with sprinkles .
