MUG BROWNIE

RAAGI HALWA



















Ingredients :
Raagi powder -3/4 cup
Ghee- 1/3 cup
Nuts- 60gm
Sugar-1 cup
Elaichi- 1tsp
Water- 2 1/2 cup
Raagi powder should not be very fine,  can grind at home for coarse powder .
Method :
Boil water along with sugar and keep aside.
Heat pan and melt ghee in it,  then roast nuts( I used walnuts in this,  real recipe  was with cashews) then add Raagi pwd and fry for a while...
Then add sugar syrup and Elaichi powder  to it and keep stirring well. After about 5-7mins this will leave the sides  of a pan,  if ghee is more it will get  separated .
Now spread this in a steel plate with 1cm thickness,  and let it set for 4-5hrs.
Cut into any shapes of your choice  and serve.
Cooking takes hardly 10 mins,  only for setting it takes time...
